    After having children most women want to get back into shape, it's wise to leave it after the 6 week check by the Dr to make sure everything is all settling down correctly and you feel well in yourself physically and mentally.     When to listen to you body..

    I have had a rough week, my 3 children have been poorly through the week. All of them off school on Tuesday-not fun- then emergency doctor appointments later on in the week, making this week feel pretty stressful. Cancelling sessions for clients due to kids illnesses are few and far between, but when it happens it frustrates me as ‘the blip’ appears and it's my fault! Luckily I have great clients who understand that not only am I a PT, but a mum of 3 and life sometimes

    Fitness isn’t just fitness, by this I mean you can’t put it into a box and bring it out when you want it. If you’ve made that decision to improve your fitness then you’ve also decided to transform your lifestyle too - for the better! Many people mistakenly belief that if they start a fitness program everything else will naturally ‘fall into line too’, How wrong could they be? Very wrong is the answer, if you start a fitness program your also going to have to take a long hard

    Like I said in my last blog 3 months into the year and your still on track! Feeling good and now you’ve started seeing some progress too. Whether your goals are weight-loss, fitness or improving how you feel, the progress your seeing is a real boost to your motivation! After 3 months or 12 weeks it's time to start ‘tweaking’ your goals and program. If you employ a PT then this is up to them, they should be asking you if you still want to achieve the same or if your goals

    Its March 2019 already, where is the year going? Time flies by now, I can remember how slow it used to tick by when I was younger and at school! Now there aren’t enough hours in the day to do all the ‘jobs’, stuff with kids and fit my training in! I find this a hard one to overcome and get a little stressed if I can’t see an opening for that precious 1 hour of exercise that I need to plan in my day. Luckily after my clients in the morning I am able to fit in my sessions
